As the successful candidate, you will report to the Manager of Labour Relations. You'll provide critical advice while participating in arbitration, facilitating workshops, and mentoring stewards. With a commitment to trade union philosophy, bring your minimum three years of experience in labour relations, industrial relations, or HR to foster a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Offer labour relations advice and advocacy
• Lead workshops and manage arbitration cases
• Mentor stewards in their advocacy efforts
• Contribute to collective bargaining negotiations
• Explain collective agreement language clearly
Requirements:
• Minimum three years in Labour Relations or HR
• University degree in a relevant area
• Specialised education in employment law and negotiations
• Proven experience with grievance and arbitration
• Access to a vehicle and valid driver’s licence
