As part of the Human Resources team at Calgary Co-op, you'll manage both occupational and non-occupational injury cases while guiding wellness initiatives. This role demands a balance of case management, compliance monitoring, and support for employees’ transitions back into the workplace, ensuring organizational safety and health standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee disability claims management and compliance tracking
• Conduct assessments and develop return-to-work strategies
• Provide expert advice on Human Rights and accommodation
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to resolve cases
• Drive continuous improvement of wellness programs
Requirements:
• Minimum of 3-5 years in disability management or HR roles
• In-depth knowledge of compensation legislation and legal requirements
• Experience in training within workplace settings
• Strong analytical and conflict resolution skills
• Proficiency in documentation and HR technologies
