Insurance Litigation Associate

Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to work on diverse and challenging files including personal injury, product liability, professional negligence, and construction claims within a supportive team environment.

• Manage a varied caseload of insurance defence matters with mentorship and guidance from senior lawyers.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal opinions with precision and creativity.
• Conduct discoveries, mediations, and attend court appearances as required.
• Work closely with clients to provide strategic legal advice and practical solutions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional results and maintain the firm s high standard of client service.

• 1-5 years of post-call experience in litigation, ideally with exposure to insurance defence.
• Strong analytical, drafting, and advocacy skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• A collaborative mindset with a passion for continuous learning and professional development.
• Membership in good standing with the Law Society of Alberta (or eligibility to transfer).
