We are now accepting applications for the MLT Aikins Indigenous Scholarship, which will award $6,000 to one second-year law student in Canada. The Final date to receive applications is February 27, 2026
. The recipient of this year’s scholarship will be announced in March 2025.

To apply, you must:

• be in your second year of law school in Canada
• provide a reference from your Indigenous community (either a letter or contact information)

In your cover letter, we encourage you to describe your achievements, your contributions to the Indigenous community and how you intend to use your legal education to advance Indigenous issues in Canada.
