Assistant Moving Center Manager

We are seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead day-to-day operations at U-Haul. You will work with a talented team, drive customer experience, and help grow our business.

• Run daily operations of the center in the General Manager's absence.
• Make moment-to-moment decisions to allocate time and resources effectively.
• Manage and assign team members to ensure customers receive an excellent first impression and top-quality service.
• Perform miscellaneous duties such as installing hitches, brake controllers, etc.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Leadership experience in any form.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts.

The role involves moderate risks or discomforts requiring special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, machines, fumes or irritant chemicals. Protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields may be required.

The role requires some physical exertion, such as long periods both indoors and outdoors while remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted.
