Position Description

In this important position, you will be involved in effective operation of assigned shifts, warehouse activities including picking, shipping and receiving.
Communicating and implementing change as directedHealth and Safety compliance in accordance with company policiesProviding leadership by establishing clear expectations and demonstrating high standards of work practices and safety conscious behaviorProven ability to have discipline discussions and give honest feedback in a professional mannerEstablishing, maintaining and promoting high standards of customer serviceLiaising with drivers, customers and warehouse personnelEnsuring compliance with OHS procedures and practicesSupervision of all staff under your direct or indirect controlAdministration duties as required to ensure daily KPI performance is achievedEnsuring all resources are utilized efficientlyDriving and maintaining 5S principles within their work area and the buildingContinuously monitoring the performance and activities of the shift operations through the use of KPI’s, with a primary focus on cost controlsExperience
Minimum 5 years’ industry related experience 2-3 years of which is in the Supervisory roleMS Excel & systems knowledge – proficiency in Microsoft Office required; SAP experience requiredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsDetailed oriented and strong analytical skillsCross-departmental experience with the ability to develop strong business relationshipsUnion experience an assetConflict Management skills are essential
