Senior Project Manager, Midstream

As a T&T Senior Project Manager, you’ll be a coach/player responsible for managing projects across smaller Midstream/pipeline sites for a global oil and gas client. This includes direct ownership and management of select projects, along with managing a small and potentially growing team of Project Managers and associated assigned projects. Typical projects will vary from small ground‑up construction, roof projects, MEP projects and varied other facilities upgrade projects.
Responsibilities- Manage all areas of project management for singular real estate projects: planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
- Work directly with clients to prepare all elements of the project: scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimates & budget, work plan schedule & milestones, quality control, and risk identification.
- Define project delivery resources from pre‑qualified lists or through the project qualification process. Conduct standard requests for proposals, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients.
- Create action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule. Track progress of each project and report status and variances.
- Identify project threats and develop risk mitigation and contingency plans. Implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.
- Provide formal supervision to employees, monitor training and development, conduct performance evaluations and coaching, and oversee recruiting and hiring of new employees.
- Coordinate and manage the team’s daily activities: establish work schedules, assign tasks, cross‑train staff, set and track staff and department deadlines, mentor and coach as needed.
- Oversee all phases of project management including procurement, contracting, planning, tracking, and execution.
- Monitor billing, accounts receivable collection, expense monitoring and control, staffing, and full P&L to EBITDA.
- Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with T&T’s culture and values, influencing others to adopt a different point of view while guided by policies and departmental plans.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 5–8 years of relevant experience; in lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- LEED AP, PMP, and CCM designations preferred.
- Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention.
- Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
- Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broad operational targets with impacts on own job discipline, multiple job disciplines, and department.
- In‑depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Experience with Procore project management software tool preferred but not required.
- Extensive organizational skills and advanced inquisitive mindset.
- Intermediate math skills, ability to calculate percentages, fractions, and other financial‑related calculations.
