JOB SUMMARYProject managers are responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. Project managers plan and designate resources, compare estimated budget to ongoing budget, monitor progress, and keep team members and customers informed throughout the project life cycle. This is all done within the confines of the company's Mission, Vision and Values.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties :
Complete or coordinate detailing of materials for project; ensure accurate submittal package and production worksheets are producedSuggest alternate products for projects based on your extensive knowledge of productsComplete or coordinate accurate ordering/sourcing/itemizing of materials for project in a timely manner; be aware of general contractor’s schedule and achieve lowest cost freightDirect and Manage on-time scheduling/shipping/install of materials for project; outsource outbound freight and install as requiredCoordinate with accounting to ensure prompt billings and ensure accuracy with contract and change orders issued; assist in collections by communicating with general contractors and resolving issuesConduct project postmortems and identify successful and unsuccessful processes within the project.Manage the sales contract for maximum profit by value-add selling of product alternates, processing change orders, rectifying deficiencies promptly, etc.Provide exceptional customer service; build relationships with industry membersCommunicate with general contractor and respond to changes on the project in a timely manner by issuing change orders promptly; regular site visits to active construction sitesEnsure that disputes with contractors are resolved promptly through inspection, discussion, and decision makingOther Duties as assignedKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Extensive related product knowledge and experience requiredKnowledge of building code requirements pertaining to life safety, security, electronics and fire codesAbility to interpret and understand architectural drawingsStrong negotiation skillsHigh level attention to detailProject Management, Management Proficiency, Process ImprovementAbility to adapt to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesAbility to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucialStrong written and oral communication skillsHigh level of commitment and accountability to get the job doneGoal and result orientedStrong mathematical aptitudeFluent in both French and EnglishEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Must have strong written and verbal skills in both English and FrenchUniversity degree or college diploma in related field or equivalent work - related experienceProject Management or Architectural Engineering certificate or 2-3 years’ related experienceProficient computer skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)WORK CONDITIONS
Sitting for extended periods of timeTravel to visit customers, construction sites, attend site meetings, measuring openings, consulting on site conditions.Lifting of supplies and MaterialsThis is a replacement position
