About the Opportunity
Our client, a reputable mid‑to‑large Canadian builder, is seeking a Project Director to oversee a portfolio of institutional, commercial, and light‑industrial projects in the Calgary market. This is a senior leadership role responsible for guiding multiple project teams, elevating delivery performance, and building long‑term client relationships.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Lead overall project strategy, planning, and execution across multiple sitesProvide operational oversight, risk management, forecasting, and performance controlMentor and develop project managers, coordinators, and site leadersStrengthen relationships with clients, consultants, and trade partnersMaintain schedule, budget, quality, and safety standards across all assigned projectsAbout You
The successful candidate will have the following:
Professional Mindset:
Grit, Entrepreneur15+ years of experience with a general contractorProven leadership delivering mid to large ICI projectsStrong commercial and contractual understandingAbility to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and drive consistent resultsExcellent communication and problem solving skillsAbout the Job
