Warehouse Assistant Manager - Shipping

Shift: Monday – Friday, Day Shift

We’re looking for a Warehouse Assistant Manager – Shipping to lead and support our day‑to‑day shipping operations. Reporting to the Delivery Manager, this role is responsible for overseeing supervisors and shipping staff, ensuring accurate and on‑time deliveries, and driving operational excellence.

• Supervise daily shipping operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy
• Lead and support supervisors and their teams through coaching and development
• Monitor productivity, identify improvements, and implement action plans
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and vacation planning to meet business needs
• Partner with sales and order desk teams to resolve shipping challenges
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
• Manage shipping fleet and equipment maintenance with accuracy and accountability

• 3+ years of warehouse, logistics, or shipping leadership experience
• Physically fit and comfortable with hands‑on work in a warehouse setting
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast‑paced environment
• Experience operating pallet jacks or willingness to learn
• Strong knowledge of shipping operations and transportation regulations
• Proven ability to coach and lead teams in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills
• Proficiency with logistics systems

• Salary Range $58,000 - $63,000
