The CWC is currently accepting applications for the position of Program Manager
, reporting to the Director, Athletics & Recreation. This senior leadership role oversees departments within the Athletics & Recreation portfolio and provides strategic leadership and guidance to ensure operational excellence across the organization.

Key Accountabilities
  • Lead strategic operations for Athletics & Services Administration, Recreation, Childminding & Preschool, Bowling, Gymnastics, 55+, and Music & Tutoring
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, high‑performance culture aligned with Club values
  • Oversee client management software to support program delivery, service consistency, and Member experience
  • Optimize program registration, implementation, and service standards
  • Lead system‑related change management, including updates, workflow improvements, and staff training
  • Guide program evaluation, data collection, and reporting to support continuous improvement
  • Identify trends and introduce innovative programs aligned with long‑term Club goals
  • Contribute to Club‑wide strategic planning as part of the Senior Leadership Team
  • Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and proactive risk management across programs and facilities
  • Champion exceptional Member experiences through engagement and continuous improvement
  • Use data and performance metrics to inform decisions and enhance operations
  • Collaborate across divisions to create integrated, high‑quality Member experiences
  • Participate in relevant committees and councils, ensuring objectives are met
  • Drive growth in participation, revenue, and service quality while managing costs
  • Develop, mentor, and evaluate staff to build leadership capacity and ensure high performance
  • Maintain effective administrative systems and support for all programs and sections
  • Ensure consistent program and instructor evaluations to support Member feedback and improvement
  • Oversee communication across all channels, including newsletters, website, and social media
  • Lead annual budget development and ensure effective forecasting and financial management
  • Promote cross‑department collaboration to enhance efficiency and Member opportunities
  • Ensure program consistency across departments, including scheduling, training, events, and costs
  • Work with HR to maintain current and effective staff and professional contracts
  • Ensure accurate scheduling of key events and coordinate activities to minimize congestion
  • Plan and contribute to Leadership and Senior Leadership meetings

Qualifications
  • A minimum of three years leadership experience in Management or Supervisor role in similar field
  • Degree in Kinesiology, Sports and Recreation Management or related field
