L R HELICOPTERS INC. is hiring a knowledgeable Director of Maintenance to ensure compliance with Canadian Aviation Regulations at Springbank Airport, Calgary. Oversee maintenance practices and lead safety initiatives in this crucial role.

In the Director of Maintenance capacity, you will manage maintenance activities, ensuring that all operations align with regulatory requirements and company policies. This position requires a strong background in aircraft maintenance, with emphasis on quality assurance and safety management. The role includes supervising a team of Aircraft Maintenance Engineers while coordinating closely with aviation operations and regulatory authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all maintenance follows Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs)

• Manage Quality Assurance programs and safety systems

• Supervise Aircraft Maintenance Engineers and apprentices

• Coordinate maintenance schedules and technical records

• Act as liaison with Transport Canada on maintenance matters

Requirements:

• AME Licence or equivalent experience

• Minimum 10 years in aircraft maintenance

• Leadership and organizational skills

• Strong knowledge of maintenance control systems

• Helicopter maintenance experience preferred
