Lead employment standards initiatives within Alberta's Ministry of Jobs, Economy, Trade and Immigration. This full-time role in Edmonton or Calgary emphasizes strategic oversight and stakeholder engagement.
As the Executive Director, you will report directly to the Assistant Deputy Minister, delivering effective compliance, enforcement, and outreach programs statewide. This role also encompasses the oversight of the Temporary Foreign Worker Advisory Office and its associated challenges.
Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with Employment Standards legislation
• Manage stakeholder relations and community awareness
• Oversee appeals processes under the Employment Standards Code
• Lead the Temporary Foreign Worker Advisory Office
Requirements:
• Extensive senior management experience in complex organizations
• Strong understanding of employment standards
• Proven ability to build stakeholder relationships
• Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
• Related degree required
