Health & Safety Manager at Cenovus

Lead health and safety initiatives for Cenovus’ Major Projects in Western Canada and the U.S. as a pivotal Manager, Health & Safety. Champion safety processes and ensure compliance while fostering a culture of safety excellence.

In this full-time position, you will manage a team of Senior Health & Safety Advisors, driving H&S standards across multiple operational sites. Your extensive expertise in health and safety processes combined with leadership experience will be essential to delivering consistent safety performance. Participate in strategic goal-setting and collaborate across departments to share best practices, continuously enhancing safety culture throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of strategic health and safety goals

• Manage and mentor Senior Health & Safety Advisors

• Collaborate with teams to enhance safety performance

• Implement health and safety programs across field operations

• Foster a culture of safety excellence in all projects

Requirements:

• Minimum 12 years of H&S experience

• Experience in oil & gas preferred

• Relevant H&S certifications (CRSP, NCSO)

• Strong knowledge of H&S regulations

• Proven leadership skills in H&S initiatives
