About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Contracts to provide commercial leadership on a major capital project delivered under EPCM/EPC models.
This is a high-impact role for a senior commercial professional who can shape contracting strategy, lead complex negotiations, and manage risk across multi-billion-dollar projects. You will work closely with project leadership and the owner’s team to drive successful commercial outcomes across all phases of delivery.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Lead the development and execution of the project-wide contracting strategy (packaging, tendering, risk allocation, and governance)Drive end-to-end contract formation, including RFPs, evaluations, negotiations, and award recommendationsOversee contract administration and commercial controls, including variations, claims, and complianceIdentify and manage key commercial risks, including market constraints, escalation, and contractor performanceLead claims prevention and dispute avoidance, resolving issues before escalationBuild and maintain strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholdersLead and mentor a high-performing contracts and commercial teamWhat Success Looks Like

Experience
15+ years in contract management on major capital projectsProven leadership experience (5+ years managing teams)Experience on projects >$500M (ideally $1B–$20B+)Background in mining, oil & gas, energy, or infrastructureTechnical Expertise
Strong knowledge of EPCM/EPC contracting modelsDeep experience in commercial strategy, negotiation, and risk managementExperience in standard contract forms (., FIDIC, NEC, CCDC)Demonstrated success managing complex claims and contractor relationshipsLeadership Profile
