We are seeking a highly organized, proactive Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a new Manulife Wealth branch in Calgary. This is a key leadership support role responsible for ensuring the branch runs smoothly, efficiently, and professionally at all times.
The Operations Manager is responsible for the operational success of the office by managing daily workflows, coordinating administrative functions, maintaining the office environment, and supporting advisors so they can focus on serving clients and growing their practices.
Key Responsibilities Branch Operations & Office Management- Open and prepare the office daily and ensure readiness for business operations
- Maintain smooth day-to-day functioning of the branch
- Oversee office supplies, equipment, vendors, and general facilities management
- Ensure the office is organized, professional, and compliant with internal standards
- Support onboarding of new advisors and staff (workspace setup, systems access, logistics)
- Coordinate internal meetings, schedules, and office communications
- Maintain filing systems, records, and operational documentation
- Keep daily operations moving efficiently across advisors and support teams
- Troubleshoot operational issues and elevate when necessary
- Coordinate with head office and compliance teams as needed
- Act as primary contact for building management, cleaning services, IT support, and vendors
- Track maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution
- Experience in office management, branch coordination, or operations support
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to take ownership and operate independently in a fast-paced environment
- Professional communication skills and strong problem-solving ability
- Comfortable working in a regulated, professional office environment
