Drive project excellence as a Commercial Management Lead rsee major projects and lead a robust team focused on maximizing commercial outcomes.
In this pivotal role, you'll manage contractual and commercial aspects of significant infrastructure projects across Stantec. Your leadership will guide a team of Commercial Managers and Project Controls Specialists, ensuring that all commercial issues are handled efficiently while adhering to the company's procedures. This position is available in any of Stantec's office locations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct a team of Commercial Managers and Project Controls Specialists
• Act as Principal-in-charge on designated projects
• Manage and resolve all project commercial and contractual issues
• Approve and oversee Project Scope Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
• Implement and maintain financial tracking systems using Earned Value Management (EVM)
Requirements:
• 15+ years of Design or Project Management experience
• BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent
• Proficient in Earned Value Management
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with claims management and contract administration
