Join GHD as a Project Director to guide environmental projects in the Contamination Assessment and Remediation Group. Thrive in a hybrid work setting focusing on sustainable solutions and compliance. We are on the lookout for a Project Director who can deliver leadership and governance in complex environmental projects. The right candidate will oversee planning, execution, and regulatory adherence, ensuring quality assurance at every stage.
You'll collaborate in any of our offices located in Greater Toronto, Calgary, or Vancouver, promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Authorize project execution plans and communication strategies
- Conduct regular health checks on project compliance
- Ensure exact documentation and output verification
- Manage vendor relationships and governance practices
- Foster a culture of safety and improvement in workflows
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years of environmental experience
- Proven project governance capabilities
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification is a plus
- Ability to engage in client-facing travel
