Suncor seeks a dynamic individual for a temporary, one-year position in Calgary. As a Project Contracts Advisor, you will manage contract strategies across their lifecycle, focusing on planning, sourcing, and negotiation. You will collaborate with various teams, driving effective solutions, claims resolution, and warranty support while ensuring robust commercial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead contract strategy through planning, negotiation, and close-out
• Manage contractor claims, back-charges, and negotiation strategies
• Review and approve contractor invoices as per procedures
• Oversee contractor performance assessments before contract closure
• Maintain contract tracking systems ensuring compliance
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP
• Strong commercial acumen and legal knowledge
• Experience in contract management and procurement law
