As TELUS seeks a Director of Health & Safety, you will be pivotal in developing and implementing our safety management system. This senior role requires exceptional expertise in safety practices and compliance, engaging leaders and stakeholders with strategic insight. Your leadership will inspire a multidisciplinary team, focusing on accountability and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a collaborative team of Safety professionals

• Develop and implement organizational safety strategies and initiatives

• Monitor KPIs to enhance operational safety performance

• Serve as the senior authority for safety regulations and legislation

• Drive digital transformation in safety tools and platforms

Requirements:

• At least 15 years in health and safety in large organizations

• Minimum 8 years of leadership experience in safety

• Expertise in EHS technology platforms

• Proven experience in unionized environments

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or similar
