Join Sobeys Inc. as a Project Manager focused on energy efficiency and carbon reduction initiatives. Drive impactful projects that align with Sobeys’ ambitious Climate Action Plan and sustainability goals.
As part of the Climate Action team within Real Estate, you will manage decarbonization projects and enhance operational value ong project management and technical knowledge in energy systems are crucial as you collaborate with various teams to execute strategies that minimize greenhouse gas emissions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop implementation strategies for carbon reduction projects
• Lead project execution from concept to close-out
• Coordinate internal stakeholders and vendors for project success
• Report on budget, schedule, and carbon reduction outcomes
• Ensure compliance with governance and industry standards
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Sustainability
• At least 8 years of project management experience
• 3-5 years in sustainability or energy management
• Knowledge of energy efficiency best practices
• Excellent communication and stakeholder skills
