CGIC is seeking a Manager of Risk and Control Claims for its Claims department. In this regular full-time position, you'll establish strategic plans and ensure compliance within claims operations. Collaborating across internal and external teams, you'll coordinate audits and reviews to provide peace of mind for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead risk assessments and compliance initiatives across claims operations
• Collaborate with peers to solve compliance challenges
• Develop partnerships for monitoring compliance trends
• Educate stakeholders to enhance control quality
• Coach your team for performance and agile culture
Requirements:
• 5 years in Insurance or Financial Services
• 5 years of leadership experience
• Degree in Risk Management, Finance, or related field
• Knowledge of insurance regulatory environments
• Designations like CIP or CPA are assets
