Hatfield is looking for a permanent full-time Manager for its Fisheries & Aquatics division within the Environmental Monitoring and Assessment Group. The position requires exceptional leadership and communication skills, along with experience managing professional biologists in a consulting context. Candidates should be adept in business development, project oversight, and environmental legislation related to aquatic ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and mentor environmental specialists and technicians
• Manage a diverse portfolio of EMA projects
• Provide strategic advice for environmental permitting
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary project teams
• Lead business development and client engagement efforts
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in relevant field
• Eight years of progressive consulting experience
• Eligibility for professional designation (e.g., P.Biol)
• Strong understanding of federal and provincial legislation
• Valid Canadian driver's license and driving experience
