Elevate your career as a Team Lead in Third Party Residential Underwriting at First National! This full-time role combines leadership of underwriting teams with strategic relationship building.

As Manager and Team Lead, you will oversee Underwriters, Fulfillment Specialists, and Funders while reporting to the Assistant Vice President. Your leadership will ensure that your team meets mortgage application assessment goals through adherence to policies. Generating business opportunities and maintaining external relationships are crucial to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build strong relationships with mortgage brokers and partners

• Make lending decisions adhering to established policies

• Generate new business through existing referral sources

• Provide coaching and development to team members

• Conduct annual performance reviews and recruit new staff

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of mortgage underwriting experience

• 2 or more years of management experience

• Strong communication and analytical skills

• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products
