Position: Capital Power Product Control Team Leader
Lead the Product Control team at Capital Power, focusing on P&L governance and valuation integrity. This hybrid role requires a seasoned professional in commodity risk management, adept at driving process improvements.

As the Product Control Team Leader, you will oversee essential functions such as daily and month-end P&L production and perform price validation. Your leadership will be vital in mentoring staff and ensuring consistent, compliant reporting aligned with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and mentor an effective Product Control team

• Manage daily and month-end P&L production and sign-off

• Govern daily commodity price curve validation

• Lead P&L attribution analysis and market impact communication

• Ensure valuation controls and data integrity are maintained

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Business, or a related field

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Product Control

• At least 3 years of leadership experience

• In-depth knowledge of valuation techniques and ETRM systems

• Familiarity with audit support and regulatory frameworks
