CGIC is hiring a Claims Leader to shape the future of the Prop Claims department. This full-time, office-based role focuses on claims management and team empowerment.

As the Technical Claims Supervisor, you will oversee the operational success of claims while inspiring your team to excel in service quality. Your leadership will be key in developing expertise within the claims sector and ensuring a seamless client experience across operations. You will leverage analytical insights and foster strong team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and inspire a diverse claims team to achieve goals

• Integrate client engagement into daily operations

• Manage claims to meet performance and compliance standards

• Develop team skills through coaching and recruitment

• Ensure proactive decisions in claims management processes

Requirements:

• 5-7 years' experience in claims or related fields

• Post-secondary education; FCIP or CIP preferred

• Comprehensive knowledge of insurance practices

• Experience in leading teams with a focus on performance

• Strong communication and trust-building skills
