About OnDeck MarketingOnDeck Marketing builds digital media networks inside community colleges and high schools, connecting post-secondary institutions with prospective students through targeted, measurable advertising. We run digital media campaigns across social platforms and programmatic channels, and we operate our own screen network placed in educational environments across North America.

The RoleThis is a client-facing role that sits at the centre of how OnDeck delivers on its promises. You’ll manage a portfolio of accounts - primarily post-secondary institutions running digital media and OOH campaigns - and you’ll be responsible for keeping those clients informed and driving revenue with valuable solutions that achieve their goals.
The role is roughly split between account stewardship, campaign oversight, and opportunity growth. You’ll be the person clients call when they need support, and the person internally who keeps campaigns on track, flags issues before they become problems, maximizes client LTV and ensures we’re always moving toward outcomes that justify the spend.
We’re looking for someone who has managed digital marketing accounts - media budgets, platform performance, client expectations, media strategy - and knows how to run them well.
What You’ll Be Doing Managing Client Relationships- Own a portfolio of active client accounts from onboarding through renewal
- Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for clients running digital media campaigns
- Run regular check-ins and performance reviews with clear, jargon-free communication
- Manage expectations proactively - flag issues early, bring solutions, not just problems
- Build the kind of relationships where clients renew because they’re getting results, not because switching feels like too much work
- Oversee the performance of digital media campaigns across paid social and programmatic channels
- Work closely with media buyers and internal teams to ensure campaign delivery aligns with client goals
- Monitor key metrics, identify underperformance early, and drive optimization decisions
- Translate platform data into clear performance narratives clients can act on
- Manage campaign timelines, deliverables, and approvals without letting things slip
- Drive client retention by consistently demonstrating value and staying ahead of client needs
- Identify upsell and expansion opportunities within existing accounts
- Contribute to renewal conversations and support new business pitches where relevant
- Provide structured feedback to leadership on client sentiment, product gaps, and market signals
- Client retention rate above 75% across your portfolio
- Campaigns consistently hitting or exceeding agreed performance benchmarks
- Clients who proactively reach out with new opportunities, not just problems
- Clean handoffs, no dropped balls, and a reputation internally for keeping things moving
- A measurable contribution to account growth through upsells or expanded campaigns
You’ve spent at least five years managing digital marketing accounts, ideally at an agency or in a client-facing role at a media company. You know how paid social and programmatic campaigns work well enough to have an intelligent conversation about performance with both a media buyer and a VP of Enrolment.
Experience:
- 5+ years managing digital marketing accounts in an agency or media environment
- Hands-on experience with paid social platforms - Meta, Linked In, Tik Tok, Google - and/or programmatic advertising
- A track record of retaining and growing accounts, not just servicing them
