Our client is a leader in advanced soil and crop input technologies, known for delivering high-performance, science-backed solutions that improve soil health and agricultural outcomes.
As they expand into the organics market, they are launching an innovative humic-enhanced compost solution designed to enhance composting efficiency and increase end-product value. This is a unique opportunity to build and scale a new market with strong technical backing and long-term growth potential.
Key Responsibilities Partner Development & Market Build- Identify, engage, and develop relationships with municipal and private compost operators across target regions.
- Build strong relationships with decision-makers in organics, waste management, and agriculture to establish a partner network.
- Develop and present commercial proposals aligned with partner needs and market opportunities.
- Structure, negotiate, and close licensing agreements and long-term partnerships.
- Secure humalite offtake agreements aligned with each partnership to ensure consistent supply.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support successful implementation and early partner success.
- Establish a scalable and repeatable model for partnership development.
- Support expansion into new regions as the platform grows.
- 10+ years of commercial experience, ideally within agriculture, waste, industrial, or related sectors.
- Proven ability to build or expand markets and drive new business growth.
- Experience managing long and complex sales cycles.
- Experience bringing a new product or process to first commercial adoption is considered an asset.
- Post‑secondary education in business, agriculture, environmental science, or a related field is an asset.
- Strong capability in structuring commercial agreements and developing scalable models.
- Experience selling into operational or industrial environments is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
- Effective negotiation skills with a focus on closing deals.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-directed with a high level of ownership and accountability.
- Proven ability to move opportunities from initial conversation to signed agreement.
