Position Title

Manager, Organics Development (Huma Post)

About Our Client

Our client is a leader in advanced soil and crop input technologies, known for delivering high-performance, science-backed solutions that improve soil health and agricultural outcomes.

As they expand into the organics market, they are launching an innovative humic-enhanced compost solution designed to enhance composting efficiency and increase end-product value. This is a unique opportunity to build and scale a new market with strong technical backing and long-term growth potential.

Key Responsibilities Partner Development & Market Build
  • Identify, engage, and develop relationships with municipal and private compost operators across target regions.
  • Build strong relationships with decision-makers in organics, waste management, and agriculture to establish a partner network.
Commercial Development
  • Develop and present commercial proposals aligned with partner needs and market opportunities.
  • Structure, negotiate, and close licensing agreements and long-term partnerships.
Supply & Execution
  • Secure humalite offtake agreements aligned with each partnership to ensure consistent supply.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support successful implementation and early partner success.
Growth & Expansion
  • Establish a scalable and repeatable model for partnership development.
  • Support expansion into new regions as the platform grows.
Qualifications Education & Experience
  • 10+ years of commercial experience, ideally within agriculture, waste, industrial, or related sectors.
  • Proven ability to build or expand markets and drive new business growth.
  • Experience managing long and complex sales cycles.
  • Experience bringing a new product or process to first commercial adoption is considered an asset.
  • Post‑secondary education in business, agriculture, environmental science, or a related field is an asset.
Technical Skills
  • Strong capability in structuring commercial agreements and developing scalable models.
  • Experience selling into operational or industrial environments is preferred.
Key Competencies
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
  • Effective negotiation skills with a focus on closing deals.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-directed with a high level of ownership and accountability.
  • Proven ability to move opportunities from initial conversation to signed agreement.
