This Philanthropy Coordinator position serves as the initial contact for donors, blending compassion with professionalism. You will contribute to various aspects of donor engagement and administrative support while assisting the Senior Director and Director of Philanthropy. A strong customer service mindset and the ability to adapt to various scenarios are key to thriving in this collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as first point of contact for donor inquiries and assistance
• Process donations and support in-person donor interactions
• Help coordinate third-party events for community fundraising
• Maintain detailed records in the donor database
• Manage donor appreciation through thank-you initiatives
Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years in an administrative capacity
• Exceptional customer service skills with adaptability
• Proficient in Microsoft
365 and keen to learn new systems
• Excellent organizational skills for juggling multiple responsibilities
• Mandatory police check with vulnerable sector search prior to hiring
