Support children facing summer hunger as a Snack Pack Volunteer with Feeding Our Future in Rocky View County. Engage in packing nutritious snacks during designated shifts.
Feeding Our Future is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to assist in the assembly of snack packs for children and youth. Volunteers will participate in specific shifts throughout July and August, helping to create 1,000 nutritious snack packs every two-hour session. This important program ensures that kids receive healthy food during the summer break from school meal services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Produce 1,000 snack packs per shift with a team
• Follow food safety standards diligently
• Keep the workspace organized and clean
• Collaborate effectively with each volunteer
• Manage time to ensure all packs are completed
Requirements:
• Minimum age of 16 years old
• Flexibility to volunteer in two-hour time slots
• Availability for specific dates in July and August
• Willingness to contribute to team efforts
