Position: Make-A-Wish Volunteer
Become a Make-A-Wish Volunteer in Calgary, Alberta, and play a vital role in transforming the lives of children facing critical illnesses. This rewarding position involves coordinating with families and wish coordinators to create magical experiences.

As a Wish Granting Volunteer, you'll work closely with wish families, plan and execute surprise reveals, and ensure every child's wish journey is exciting. The role involves assisting with a minimum of 3-4 wishes per year, requiring good communication and empathetic interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with wish families and volunteer partners

• Plan and organize the wish journey effectively

• Execute wish reveal events with excitement

• Assist on the day of the wish as required

• Complete a criminal background check during onboarding

Requirements:

• Willingness to complete a background check

• Comfortable commuting to the opportunity location

• Minimum age of 18 years

• Access to a phone or computer for communication

• Good communication and organizational skills
