Experienced Philanthropy Officer at Hospice

Make a difference as an Experienced Philanthropy Officer at Hospice Calgary. This full-time role emphasizes a donor-centric approach to elevate fundraising efforts supporting community well-being.

In this permanent position, you will report to the Director of Marketing & Fund Development. Your responsibilities will include developing strategic fundraising initiatives and impactful communications that tell the story of the organization's critical services. You will work collaboratively to inspire donor engagement and maintain lasting relationships to further the mission of Hospice Calgary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead fundraising initiatives to strengthen community support

• Create compelling reports and grant applications to showcase impact

• Develop annual giving campaigns to engage donors

• Connect and communicate effectively with donors about the organization’s work

• Support a team-oriented environment that promotes collaboration

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related discipline

• Minimum 5 years experience in a fundraising capacity

• Familiarity with Raiser’s Edge NXT or other CRM solutions

• Knowledge of the Calgary philanthropy sector

• Excellent storytelling and writing skills
