Join the Aboriginal Friendship Centre of Calgary as Chief Operating Officer, driving strategic initiatives and community relationships. This contract role is pivotal in program management and operational success.
The Chief Operating Officer will partner with executive leadership to ensure sustainable development and community support through effective program delivery and resource management.
Your role involves maintaining compliance with regulations and fostering strong relationships with volunteers and staff. By leveraging your extensive nonprofit experience, you will enhance AFCC’s mission and service offerings across the city.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement strategic plans with the CEO
• Restore operational efficiency across multi-site projects
• Build community partner relationships and networks
• Ensure compliance with regulations and standards
• Support the CEO in operational responsibilities
Requirements:
• Leadership experience in nonprofit sector (5-10 years)
• Strong knowledge of Indigenous community engagement
• Proven skills in team and project management
• Proficiency in data analysis for program impact
• Passion for AFCC’s mission and vision
