Outreach & Events Coordinator

Position: Full-Time Outreach & Events Coordinator
Drive community engagement initiatives as the Outreach & Events Coordinator for Calgary Humane Society. This full-time role offers hands-on event planning and execution opportunities.

We seek a Community Outreach & Events Coordinator who is community-minded and professional. This position requires flexibility with your schedule, working primarily Tuesday through Saturday. You will coordinate outreach plans and engage with the public to support CHS's mission while promoting animal welfare.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate logistics for community fundraising and outreach events

• Engage with the public at events representing CHS

• Cultivate relationships with community sponsors and volunteers

• Manage event materials and logistics effectively

• Maintain outreach program statistics and vehicle readiness

Requirements:

• High school diploma required

• Background in event planning or nonprofit sectors preferred

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong problem-solving and organizational capabilities

• Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean record
