Position: Philanthropic Development Officer Opportunity
Drive philanthropic growth as a Development Officer with WINS in Calgary. Play a key role in shaping community programs while engaging with diverse stakeholders.

WINS invites applications for the Development Officer position, aimed at advancing our philanthropic goals. You will manage relationships with individuals and organizations to generate significant gifts, while collaborating with leadership for effective fundraising strategies. Essential duties include writing reports and proposals that resonate with potential donors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow a donor portfolio through tailored engagement

• Draft compelling proposals and impact narratives

• Cultivate major donor relationships for substantial gifts

• Develop engaging and authentic stewardship processes

• Ensure accurate CRM tracking of donations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

• At least three years of successful fundraising experience

• Strong writing and relationship-building skills

• Track record of meeting objectives and deadlines

• Valid driver’s license and travel ability
