Join WINS as a Development Officer and enhance community support in Calgary. Focus on building impactful donor relationships and managing fundraising strategies.
WINS is looking for a Development Officer to spearhead philanthropic growth within our community programs. This role emphasizes developing relationships with individuals and corporations for major gift prospects and maintaining engagement with existing donors. Responsibilities also include crafting tailored proposals and ensuring stewardship practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Cultivate and manage a diverse portfolio of donors
• Write persuasive proposals and impact communications
• Support major donor cultivation and stewardship activities
• Create authentic engagement strategies for donors
• Maintain accurate records of donor interactions in CRM
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience
• Minimum of three years in fundraising success
• Excellent proposal writing and relationship skills
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work
• Valid driver’s license with travel readiness
