Position: Program Coordinator for Vision Mates
Lead Vision Mates and Peer Support initiatives in Northern Alberta. As a Program Coordinator, recruit volunteers, create peer groups, and maintain excellent participant experiences.

This role oversees the delivery of Vision Mates and Peer Mentorship services, ensuring high-quality engagement. With responsibilities including volunteer recruitment, program coordination, and participant follow-up, this role plays a crucial part in enhancing services. Candidates must possess exceptional interpersonal skills and be proactive in managing multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruit, onboard, and supervise program volunteers

• Facilitate peer groups and coordinate participant matches

• Maintain up-to-date Salesforce records of activities

• Foster engagement and recognition initiatives for participants

• Organize logistics for local events and support groups

Requirements:

• 1-3 years in program delivery or volunteer coordination

• Post-secondary degree in a related field

• Excellent communication and organization skills

• Experience with Microsoft Office applications

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
