Join STARS as a Donor Relations & Development Officer in Calgary. Elevate fundraising efforts while building lasting relationships with donors and sponsors.
In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in the Foundation team, working as an ambassador for STARS’ mission. Engage with a network of individuals, corporations, and foundations to secure vital funding for our life-saving initiatives. Your efforts in identifying and nurturing donor relationships will help sustain the high-quality medical care provided across Alberta.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate fundraising activities for mission support
• Expand strategic relationships through targeted outreach
• Cultivate and solicit major gifts effectively
• Draft proposals and prepare presentations for prospects
Requirements:
• 3 to 5 years in fundraising or related fields
• Relevant post secondary education preferred
• Proven success in major gift solicitation
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Your expertise in donor relations is essential to uphold the mission of STARS and the care of our VIPs.
