Calgary Food Bank Events Manager

Lead impactful community events with the Calgary Food Bank as a Community Engagement Events Manager. Drive partnerships, manage initiatives, and enhance supporter experiences to increase food and fund donations.

This full-time role requires a dynamic leader to oversee community engagement initiatives and fundraising activities, reporting to the Director of Community Engagement. With at least five years of relevant experience, you will manage key relationships with diverse partners while building a collaborative team culture. This position directly contributes to feeding our community and raising awareness through strategic community-driven events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor the Community Engagement Events team

• Plan and execute signature fundraising and community events

• Track and analyze performance metrics for campaigns

• Build lasting relationships with sponsors and community partners

• Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory guidelines

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in a relevant field

• Minimum 5 years in community engagement or fundraising

• Demonstrated leadership and project management experience

• Strong communication and relationship management skills

• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
