Front of House; FOH​/Server Assistant

Shibuya Izakaya Japanese Restaurant is looking for reliable, friendly and hardworking Front of House (FOH) / Server Assistant team members. We are currently hiring part-time positions.

Our FOH team works together to provide fast and friendly service. This is a team-based position, and staff are expected to help wherever needed rather than being limited to one specific duty.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat guests
• Help manage the seating chart
• Run food and drinks to tables quickly and accurately
• Clear, clean and reset tables
• Pack takeout and online orders accurately
• Refill water and assist guests throughout their visit
• Clean and restock washrooms
• Sweep, mop, wipe and maintain cleanliness throughout the Front of House
• Restock cutlery, menus, napkins, condiments, sauces and takeout supplies
• Communicate with the kitchen and other team members
• Help teammates wherever needed during busy periods

• Reliable and punctual

• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant
• Strong teamwork
• Willing to learn and take direction
• Restaurant or customer-service experience is an asset, but not required
• Training will be provided
• Weekday daytime and evening availability is preferred

All FOH team members are expected to assist with guest service, food running, takeout orders, cleaning, stocking and general Front of House duties as required.
