We are looking for a Bar manager for our client:

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Serving food and liquor responsibly, while providing guests with a pleasurable experience. Shifts would vary, with some management shifts mixed with bartending shifts. Must be knowledgeable in our product as well as our brand, while also knowing our local area.
  • Create seasonal cocktail menus, using local and trending products to help attract and please a variety of guests.
  • Order and maintain a supply of various bar ingredients including GP beer and partnering companies' products.
  • Perform daily tasks such as cleaning, stocking, organizing and ordering.
  • Ensuring the safety of our guests by verifying age and identification, and responsible liquor serving.
  • Complete monthly inventory of products to ensure consistent tracking of costs, and avoid potential theft.
  • Be a brand ambassador, excellent knowledge of the brand, product and community is a strong asset in communicating with guests and new colleagues.
  • Ensuring the comfort of our guests by maintaining a pleasant atmosphere including temperature, lights, TV channels, music station & volume.
  • Accurately prepare and serve all beverages, while taking orders and engaging bar patrons.
  • Be familiar and personable to locals and our regular guests including Mug Club Members.
  • As the last face of the business, must complete the building check before leaving. This includes the closing of the kitchen staff, patio, all internal space, external space, locks & alarms.
  • Ready and willing to work in a service role which may include direct contact with the public and or vendor representatives.
  • Follow all required Health, Safety, Prevention & Sanitation procedures at all times.
  • Provide support and training to colleagues as required.
  • Maintain proper audit track records, follow company policies & procedures.
  • Develop and maintain close and effective working relationships with all supporting department.
  • Complete other duties and projects as assigned.
  • Consider the environmental impacts of all decisions.
