Part-Time Barista

Join The Mustard Seed as a part-time Barista, enhancing guest experiences at the Ogden Community Impact Centre in Calgary. Focus on exceptional service and quality beverage preparation.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a flexible schedule and the hustle of café life. As a Barista, you will take orders, manage guest interactions, and prepare a range of beverages while ensuring a positive café atmosphere. Reports to the Café Manager and helps with staff training are essential parts of this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare a diverse selection of beverages like cappuccinos

• Maintain cleanliness throughout the café

• Proactively greet customers as they enter

• Use the POS system for order processing

• Assist with cash reconciliation as required

Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 months experience as a barista

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong multitasking and organizational capabilities

• Valid food handler’s permit is beneficial

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and handle stock tasks
