Wage for the position is $17 - $21/hr plus gratuities.

The Cook 1, and Cook 2, positions are responsible for preparing food in Win Sport’s Garden Café, Food Court, Eighty Eight Lounge, Win Sport Hockey House, Snack Shack, Concessions and catering events. You will be reporting to the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs and be expected to prepare and cook high-quality food to the Win Sport standard.

The successful candidates must be available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings.

What you will be doing:

• Daily food preparation
• Work within multiple kitchens including Win Sport’s Garden Café, Win Sport Hockey House, Main Kitchen, Food Court, and 88 Bar & Grill.
• Prepare and cook for various menu styles including quick service, plated buffet, catering deliveries, to-go, and high volume specialist events
• Ensure that all culinary work spaces are kept clean and well maintained
• Provide exceptional service, encourage repeat business and loyalty while supporting the Win Sport Brand

What you bring:

• Cook 1: Required 3-2 years' experience (and/or 3rd-year Apprentice)
• Cook 2: Required 2-3 years’ experience (and/or 2nd-year Apprentice)
• Aged 18+
• Able to work independently
• Technical training in a recognized culinary course is an asset
• Alberta Class 5 driver’s license with clean abstract preferred. The willingness to learn to operate Win Sport vans/trucks is an asset,
  but not required

You will be:

• Walking and standing up for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to push, pull, lift or carry up to 25lbs frequently.
• Must have full mobility and be able to work in a physical environment.
• Work schedule will include evenings, weekends, and holidays when necessary.
