SUMMARY
The Sales Development Representative is responsible for the outreach to prospective clients with the objective of identifying potential client customers and setting qualified appointments for the field sales team.
This is a hybrid role, working three days a week in our beautiful Calgary Office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Raise awareness and generate interest for Avetta through cold calling, emails, and social outreach to prospective customersSchedule initial discovery calls for Account ExecutivesMeet or exceed assigned daily activity minimums of 80-100 activities (calls + emails)Manage your own book of accounts and set the strategy for effective book managementBecome a power user of Sales Navigator, Zoom Info, Salesforce, Chili Piper and Gong as toolsProvide constructive feedback on how to improve effectiveness and efficiency within the SDR role to SDR Managers and Sales EnablementCollaborate with team members to share and learn from best practicesMaintain a schedule aligned with the business hours of your assigned regionRegular and predictive attendanceThis position requires travel to attend sales conferences, events, training sessions and other travel as outlined by management.IDEAL EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION & TRAINING:
Collaborate with team members to share and learn from best practicesMinimum of 6 months of sales experience (ideally as an SDR) working with Mid-Market accountsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsYou have a high degree of resilience, enabling you to bounce back from setbacksYou possess a player mindset; you strive to grow and develop and never back down from a challengeYour work ethic is unmatched- anything you don't know you'll make up with hard workYou're extremely coachable and willing to receive and implement feedbackMETRICS THAT MATTER:
Ability to complete a minimum 8-hour in-office workdayMinimum of 10 introductory meetings in which 6 are qualified per monthSupport the Enterprise Account Executive Team for Inbound and Outbound communicationWe also offer a comprehensive benefits package, which includes health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), and PTO.
