This is not a basic order-entry role. It is a client-facing, commercially minded position for someone who understands that accurate orders, responsive communication, proactive follow-up, and strong product knowledge are what turn customers into long-term accounts.

OSP is looking for a Client Experience Specialist (Inside Sales) to support industrial clients across North America through high-quality chemical blending and distribution solutions. In this role, you will manage the full order lifecycle, support client inquiries, coordinate with Operations, maintain accurate information in Sage 300 and Hub Spot, and help identify opportunities to retain, grow, and better support existing accounts.

You will be responsible for ensuring client purchase orders are entered accurately and on time, client instructions are followed, shipping and compliance requirements are met, and clients receive a seamless experience from order through delivery and after-sales support.

You will also become deeply knowledgeable about OSP’s products and specifications, allowing you to confidently explain benefits, support client decisions, and contribute to account growth.

What You’ll DoIn this role, you will:
  • Own the full order lifecycle, including accurate order entry, order confirmation, pricing details, shipping coordination, exception management, and after-sales support.
  • Ensure purchase orders are entered accurately and in a timely manner, with client instructions followed carefully and consistently.
  • Complete shipping and compliance documentation, including regulatory paperwork for Canada and the United States.
  • Partner closely with Operations to support on-time delivery, smooth execution, and clear communication with clients.
  • Respond to inbound sales inquiries and client questions with professionalism, urgency, and product knowledge.
  • Maintain accurate inventory visibility and support internal teams with stock levels, manufacturing needs, and client expectations.
  • Resolve order-related issues, including delays, credits, returns, discrepancies, and follow-up requirements.
  • Provide sales support to the outside sales team, including preparing tailored quotes in Sage 300.
  • Build and maintain long-term consultative relationships with key clients, acting as a trusted point of contact and internal advocate.
  • Support client retention and account expansion by identifying upsell and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Actively sell into and grow an existing account base.
  • Develop strong product and specification knowledge to become a confident brand ambassador.
  • Prepare sales analytics, forecasting, and trend analysis to support decision-making and growth planning.
  • Monitor client satisfaction trends and recommend improvements to strengthen service standards.
