Softchoice is a software-focused IT solutions and services provider that equips organizations for digital transformation. This position is a hybrid role based in Edmonton, AB.
The Impact You Will HaveChallenging customers to disrupt and innovate while sustaining and strengthening relationships to help them seize digital transformation opportunities.
What You’ll Do- Strategic account planning, including industry research, competitive insight, and client forecasts
- Develop strong executive and C‑level relationships with existing and prospective Softchoice clients
- Leverage Salesforce and Softchoice sales methodology to manage accounts, opportunities, and pipelines with accurate forecasting
- Identify client business problems and drive resources to address opportunities through software, hardware, and services sales
- Maintain strategic alignment with local vendor and distribution channel partners
- Keep updated on product and industry knowledge and attend required product training
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and specialty resources to satisfy customer objectives
- 2+ years of experience in a business‑to‑business sales environment
- Experience in the technology industry preferred
- Experience navigating and understanding annual reports, financial data, and forecasting
- Solid business acumen and understanding of managing a sales funnel
- Understanding of solution selling and creating value for business clients
- Strong verbal, written, listening, and presentation skills; able to present complex solutions simply
- Strong problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Salesforce and Office 365 applications
- High-level commitment to exceptional customer service and relationship building
- A driven, self‑motivated attitude with the ability to work individually and in teams
- High school diploma or equivalent
Base salary: $55,000.
Target total compensation (base plus incentives): $110,000. Additional components may include cell allowances, annual bonuses, commissions, and a comprehensive benefits plan.
