Opportunity

The Commercial Account Associate assists the Account Executive/Commercial Account Advisor with the preparation of information to be submitted to the Marketing Department and/or the Prospect/Client.

Full‑Time Opportunity

Opportunity working out of one of the following branch locations:

What You’ll Do
  • Interact with the Account Executive/Commercial Account Advisor to assemble renewal information or make changes to policies throughout the year as received
  • Track expiry lists for the Account Executive/Commercial Account Advisor
  • Prepare information to be submitted to the Marketers to obtain new quotes, assembling the information into a presentation format for the prospect/client
  • Follow up on account receivable to ensure timely invoicing and payment of premium
  • Attend meetings with the Account Executive/Commercial Account Advisor, Commercial Multiline Account Executive on new or renewal business when required
What You Will Bring To

The Role
  • Level 1 license is required, with completion of CAIB 1 & 2 strongly preferred
  • Current knowledge in all aspects of commercial property, having a minimum 1 year experience working in commercial insurance
  • Proficient with Microsoft programs and Broker Management Software Systems
  • Ability to multi‑task and interact in a professional manner with clients and colleagues
  • Great problem‑solving skills and the ability to make the necessary decisions to move work forward
  • Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently under minimal daily direction
