Territory Manager, Diabetes Southern Saskatchewan
About the Role
Mini Med is seeking an experienced Territory Manager to drive business growth and support for Diabetes products and services. This field‑based position focuses on promoting, selling, and supporting our offerings within the territory and reports to the assigned District Manager.
Location:
Calgary, Alberta and southern Saskatchewan (including Airdrie, Diamond Valley, and Regina). The role requires a 5‑day per week field presence.
- Promote, sell, and service Mini Med products to physicians, patients, and referral sources through sales calls and educational activities.
- Implement quarterly sales and market development plans to achieve targets, adapting strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with Clinical Territory Managers, Diabetes Clinical Educators, and cross‑functional teams to educate stakeholders on intensive diabetes management and continuous glucose monitoring.
- Provide product and therapy technical support to patients, including consultation at staff in‑services, physician seminars, and community organizations (ADA, AADE, JDRF, patient support groups).
- Build and maintain long‑term relationships with referral sources, healthcare professionals, and non‑clinical buyers to establish a strong business base.
- Manage territory expenses, inventory, and product returns, and coordinate daily customer support activities as assigned.
- Capture healthcare professional engagements via Salesforce in a timely and accurate manner.
- Complete administrative reporting, utilize approved sales collateral, and conduct market research on customers and competitors.
- Communicate customer feedback and product needs to internal stakeholders (R&D, Operations, Marketing).
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of three (3) years prior sales experience
- Field sales experience highly preferred.
- Prior medical device, business‑to‑business or pharmaceutical sales experience highly preferred.
- Experience using Salesforce.
- Prior inside sales or field clinical experience with Mini Med.
- Previous sales award recipient due to strong sales performance (e.g., President’s Club, Rookie of the Year).
- Strong data analysis, evaluation and problem‑solving skills.
Must have a valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance policy. Driving record will be reviewed and considered as part of the application. Must be able to drive approximately 100 % of the time within the assigned territory and may require overnight travel.
