Are you a results‑driven professional with a passion for Business Development and Account Management
? We are partnering with a premier Canadian financial services provider to hire Client Relationship Managers to support their growing Group Retirement Savings (GRS) division in Western Canada.

In this role, you will act as a strategic consultant, balancing sales support with high‑level portfolio management. This is a high‑impact position for a motivated self‑starter who excels at identifying development potential within a client block while maintaining world‑class service standards.

Responsibilities
  • Account Management & Retention
    • Proactively manage a portfolio of clients and intermediaries to ensure high retention and satisfaction.
    • Organize client visits in accordance with service standards to build strong, long‑term relationships.
    • Establish business relationships with pension committees, plan sponsors, and stakeholders.
  • Business Development & Sales Support
    • Analyze client needs to propose, design, and implement solutions that promote the business unit's growth.
    • Identify sales opportunities and provide tailored solutions to meet client goals.
    • Support the sales team during short‑list presentations to showcase financial wellness and reporting tools.
    • Develop relationships with Group Benefits Insurance colleagues to pursue joint business opportunities.
  • Consulting & Analysis
    • Advise clients on the best solutions and strategies to achieve desired outcomes.
    • Collect and analyze data to prepare results‑oriented reports and recommendations for annual general meetings.
    • Research industry trends to ensure the development of best practices.
  • Qualifications
    • Experience:

      3 to 5 years of experience; retirement and savings experience (group or institutional) is preferred.
    • Sales/Business Development

      Skills:

      Demonstrated influencing and negotiation skills with a proven record of building internal and external relationships.
    • Account Management:
      Proven ability to manage work with limited direction and effectively resolve escalations.
    • Technical Knowledge:
      Good understanding of the legislative and regulatory environment.
    • Communication:
      Strong verbal/written communication and solid presentation skills.
    • Language:
      Professional proficiency in English.
