Are you a results‑driven professional with a passion for Business Development and Account Management
? We are partnering with a premier Canadian financial services provider to hire Client Relationship Managers to support their growing Group Retirement Savings (GRS) division in Western Canada.
In this role, you will act as a strategic consultant, balancing sales support with high‑level portfolio management. This is a high‑impact position for a motivated self‑starter who excels at identifying development potential within a client block while maintaining world‑class service standards.
Location & Work Model- Location:
Vancouver, BC or Calgary - Hybrid
- Permanent Full‑Time
- Salary $75,000 – $110,000 (depending on experience) plus Benefits
- Hours:
Standard business hours - Experience Level: 3 to 5 years of related experience looking to grow and develop in the role

- Proactively manage a portfolio of clients and intermediaries to ensure high retention and satisfaction.
- Organize client visits in accordance with service standards to build strong, long‑term relationships.
- Establish business relationships with pension committees, plan sponsors, and stakeholders.
- Analyze client needs to propose, design, and implement solutions that promote the business unit's growth.
- Identify sales opportunities and provide tailored solutions to meet client goals.
- Support the sales team during short‑list presentations to showcase financial wellness and reporting tools.
- Develop relationships with Group Benefits Insurance colleagues to pursue joint business opportunities.
- Advise clients on the best solutions and strategies to achieve desired outcomes.
- Collect and analyze data to prepare results‑oriented reports and recommendations for annual general meetings.
- Research industry trends to ensure the development of best practices.
- Experience:
3 to 5 years of experience; retirement and savings experience (group or institutional) is preferred. - Sales/Business Development
Skills:
Demonstrated influencing and negotiation skills with a proven record of building internal and external relationships. - Account Management:
Proven ability to manage work with limited direction and effectively resolve escalations. - Technical Knowledge:
Good understanding of the legislative and regulatory environment. - Communication:
Strong verbal/written communication and solid presentation skills. - Language:
Professional proficiency in English.
