Overview
As the Business Development Manager for South Alberta, you’ll be responsible for accelerating Radius’ growth across a market rich with opportunity and ready for a strong local presence. Based in Calgary as our dedicated sales professional in the region, you’ll work in close partnership and be supported by our Alberta Branch & Project Manager, skilled Technicians, and experienced BC team.

You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and delivering tailored security solutions that exceed expectations. Compensation: Base salary plus commission, with realistic first-year earnings up to $120,000.
Responsibilities- Lead Generation and Sales Outreach:
Proactively generate leads through daily opportunity opportunities, cold calling, outreach efforts, and by nurturing and expanding existing client relationships. - Delivery of Engaging Sales Presentations:
Facilitate appointments, including organizing and conducting Lunch & Learn sessions to educate and engage potential clients. - Relationship and Pipeline Management:
Maintain and manage deals in Hub Spot, ensuring accurate, real-time updates to support an efficient and transparent sales pipeline. - Client Needs Assessment and Solutions Design:
Collaborate with the Project Manager and Technicians to develop detailed quotes and cost estimates, conduct site surveys, and design customized security solutions aligned with client requirements. - Relationship Management:
Cultivate and strengthen lasting client partnerships through proactive relationship management and a solutions-focused approach that drives retention and growth. - Networking and Brand Promotion:
Represent the company at trade shows, association events, law enforcement recognition meetings, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness. - Performance and Accountability:
Participate in meetings to review performance, align with team objectives, and maintain accountability to organizational goals and standards. - Other Responsibilities:
Build strong relationships with the operations team, provide and seek constructive feedback, and demonstrate appreciation for contributions.
- 5+ years of proven sales success with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Strong relationship-building skills with customers and internal teams.
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Sales Management platforms; ability to learn new services in the security space.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and growth-minded with the ability to work independently.
- Willing and able to travel across South Alberta as needed to meet clients and grow the market.
